Not3s gets himself a publishing deal ahead of the release of his ‘Take Not3s’ EP

Yes the rumours of Not3s joining Tinie Tempah’s publishing company ‘Imhotep’ are true. The two were picture at a restaurant together and a video also shows the young East London rapper signing the deal.

Tinie posted this picture of Not3s on his instagram account the caption ‘Oga’ – A saying in Nigeria to show respect to someone. The food itself is Eba and Egusi soup, a traditional dish in Nigeria.

What does this deal mean for Not3s?

This means that Imhotep would ensure that Not3s receives payment when his songs are used commercially. They will help push him music out on media outlet, radios, TV etc. In addition to that Imhotep will license his songs and helps monitor where they are used, collects royalties. This does that mean that Not3s is a signed artist, he is still independent but working with a company to get his music as far as it can go – just like Stormzy does.

With the look of things, it looks like Not3s is planning on dropping a new music video soon. Possibly a video of a track on his Take Not3s EP

This news comes at a very good time for Not3s, as he gears up for the release of his new EP ‘Take Not3s’. A 9 tracked project featuring hit singles such as his break through single ‘Addison Lee’ and much loved  ‘Aladdin’. Featured on the EP are Tinie Tempah, Shakka and Mostack.
