Jurassic World director JA Bayona has revealed filming for Jurassic World 2 will begin in early 2017. The director said in a new interview that work had already begun on the sequel, which will feature a script written by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, and be produced by Steven Spielberg and Frank Marshall.
“We’re working on it already,[It] starts shooting in March” Bayona said he also described the project as “more collaborative, it’s about sharing views and working together to bring the story to life. But, at the same time, the way I face telling a story is to find something very personal. I think there will be plenty of myself also in the film”. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will return for Jurassic World 2 alongside Toby Jones and Rafe Spall. The movie is currently scheduled for release on June 22, 2018.
