Tottenham have announce the signing of Kenyan international midfielder Victor Wanyama from Southampton.
This is Spurs first signing since they finished third in the Premier League last season.
Wanyama, 24, played 85 league games for the Saints since signing from Celtic in 2013 scoring four goals and he penned down a five-year deal.
Spurs have splashed out £11m on their new signing as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Wanyama recently wrote a letter to the Southampton fans and said, ‘’It is very emotional for me to say goodbye to the club that gave me the chance to be the first Kenyan to play in the Premier League.’’
He will now be reunited with Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino whom he played for at Southampton.
